I just listened to Terra Naomi‘s new CD, To Know I’m OK, and in my opinions, she’s much more than OK–she’s a phenomenal singer/songwriter. I have such admiration for Terra Naomi: she’s a dedicated, talented artist, a savvy promoter, deeply connected to her fans, and she’s made a hell of a CD.
To Know I’m Ok is Naomi’s first album since the 2007 release of her album Under The Influence with Universal-Island Records. In partnership with Hipstamatic (Apple’s “App of The Year”), and director Alex Albrecht from Revision3′s Diggnation, Terra Naomi released the first ever iPhone app based, crowdsourced, stop-motion music video. In a
contest promoted via Twitter, Facebook and YouTube, fans responded enthusiastically, submitting over 10,000 Hipstamatic photos directly from their iPhones for inclusion in Terra’s video. The project website can be seen here.
